Sold throughout the world in 19,000 upscale retail venues, the Azzaro Parfums brand – synonymous with Italian elegance and great sensuality – owes its success to the exceptional legacy passed down by its creator, Loris Azzaro. Its powerful values represent simplicity, conviviality and sharing that have stood the test of time.
Having developed a passion for perfume as a child, Loris was intent on creating real “weapons of seduction” and entered the fray in 1975 with his very first fragrance: ‘Azzaro’, a feminine scent with astonishing chypre notes that would go on to be reinterpreted as ‘Azzaro Couture’ in 2008.
Today, his reputation continues to live through his men’s fragrances. In 1978, he launched the highly successful ‘Azzaro Pour Homme’, a unique fragrance with a fougère accord and an iconic bottle (# 1 in Brazil and in the top 10 in Europe). The beginning of a saga led to the birth of a second great men’s fragrance, ‘Chrome’ in 1996. In 2011 ‘Decibel’ was welcomed into the family. In the meantime, new versions of the two historical stalwarts bolstered the range: Azzaro Pour Homme Elixir (2009), Chrome Sport (2010) and Eau d’Azzaro Pour Homme (2011).
